Construction Documentation.
Construction documentation is the phase when it all comes together.
Working drawings and specifications, also known as blueprints, document
the quantity and relationship of all work to be performed on a built
project. These documents include both drawings and written specifications
outlining the quality of both materials and workmanship.
Working drawings are aptly named because they accomplish a great
deal. These documents are used to establish actual construction costs
and serve as the backbone of the construction contract. Thorough
construction documentation helps to minimize construction delays,
errors and cost overruns.
